In this role, you will be responsible for standardizing HR policies and procedures including but not limited to; hiring/termination, employee communication updates, leaves of absence, etc. You will take the lead on all employee relations issues and compliance initiatives with respect to state laws and regulations. This position reports to upper management directly and will be responsible for day-to-day Human Resource functions for multiple sites.
Other responsibilities of this role include:
Managing employee handbook process and working with IT to continually transmit up-to-date HR information across the company intranet and agreed upon vehicles of communication.
Identifying and implementing performance management and succession planning tools, including but not limited to; Identifying and tracking high potential employees for leadership positions, generating resumes, replacement tables, and succession analysis reports. Identifying gaps in succession plans, viewing organizational structure, incumbents and candidates.
Identifying and implementing a formal compensation tool that includes financial ratio analysis (e.g. similar pay for similar work, pay grades, job coding) and pay for performance principals
Participates in coordinating special employee events (e.g. employee dinner, summer barbeques, company parties)
Respond to and manage employee relations issues; coach employees and managers on performance management and execution of performance improvement plans; build and foster an environment of trust.
Performing other related duties as assigned; including but not limited to, administrative functions, special projects.

The primary duties of the position include (but not limited to):
Overall responsibility for the accuracy of our perpetual inventory system records vs. the actual physical levels.
Develop and institute a cycle count program for primary location as well as remote warehouses.
Reconcile cycle count and physical inventory results.
Evaluate systems and procedures related to all movements of inventory.
Organize and conduct mid-year and year-end physical inventory count.
Create and implement control procedures, related to the movement of inventory, to assure the maintenance of our systems and accuracy of inventory levels.
