Location

• Long Island City, NY : 39-15 21st Street, Long Island City, NY (Monday-Friday 7am-4pm)

Job Functions & Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading of incoming shipments.
• Receive, stock, and move incoming and outgoing materials to/from the warehouse
• Stock picking; gather and prepare/package materials for pick-up and delivery
• Maintain and organize inventory
• Ensure all working and common areas are kept clean and organized
• Learn and retain product knowledge and specifications
• Effectively work in cooperation with department staff and management on duties assigned
• Customer service - handoff materials to customers in a professional manner

Qualifications

• Knowledge in warehouse operations and equipment (forklift, inventory management, etc)
• Specific experience and knowledge in electrical/plumbing supply industries is a plus
• High School Diploma or GED required

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lift and move object that weighs 10-50lbs.
• Occasionally lift and move object that weighs more than 50lbs.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, push, and pull
• Must be able to work in both hot and cold working environments
• Regularly required to use hands and arms to grasp, hold, handle, reach, and carry
